I provide therapy for adults and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions, and the lasting effects of parentified childhoods. I also provide clinical supervision for LMSWs in NYS working toward LCSW licensure.

Q: Are sessions available in Spanish?
Yes! I am bilingual in English and Spanish and can provide therapy and supervision in either language.

Q: Do you offer Telehealth sessions?
Yes, I offer secure Telehealth sessions. This allows flexibility and access regardless of location.

Q: What is your approach to therapy?

Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule a session by contacting us via email or by using the online booking system on Headway.

The first session is a comprehensive assessment where we review your history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We discuss your needs, answer any questions, and begin creating a personalized plan to support your mental health journey.

Q: How should I prepare for my first therapy session?
Think about your goals, current challenges, and any questions you may have. Bringing notes or examples of your experiences can help make the session more productive.

Q: How long will I need to be in therapy, and how is that determined?
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals, the nature of your concerns, and your progress. We regularly review your treatment plan together to ensure therapy remains effective and aligned with your needs.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid the cancellation fee.

Rates & Insurance

Q: What insurance do you accept?
I am in-network with select insurance providers in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. If your plan isn’t listed, out-of-network benefits may be available, and you may be able to submit for reimbursement.

Q: What are your rates?

  • Initial session (60 mins): $160

  • Individual Therapy (50 min): $150

  • Clinical Supervision for LMSWs (50 min): $90

  • Cancellation fee: $50

    Payment is due at the time of service.

The initial session is a comprehensive assessment where we review your history, discuss current challenges, and begin to set goals for therapy. This session requires dedicated time, clinical expertise, and careful evaluation to create a personalized plan that best supports your needs. Charging for the initial session ensures that your appointment is valued, allows for thorough preparation, and helps establish a professional therapeutic relationship from the start.

Supervision for LMSWs

Q: Do you provide supervision for LMSWs?
Yes! I provide individualized supervision that meets New York State requirements, including face-to-face hours with a qualified LCSW supervisor and guidance on clinical practice, ethics, documentation, and case conceptualization. Sessions are offered via Telehealth and are tailored to support your professional growth and licensure goals.

Confidentiality & Safety

Q: How do you keep my personal and health information confidential?
Your privacy is a top priority. All sessions comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring your information is securely stored and shared only with your consent or as legally required.

Q: What should I do if I experience a mental health crisis between sessions?
If you are in immediate danger or feeling unsafe, please call 911 (or your local emergency number). You can also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S. for immediate support. For urgent concerns that are not life-threatening, you can reach out to your therapist or your local crisis resources.

Q: Are there tools or resources I can use to support myself between sessions?
Yes! Depending on your needs, I can recommend exercises, coping strategies, journaling prompts, or reputable online resources to help reinforce skills and support your well-being between sessions.
